Parabola 2023: perception/deception

The Des Lee Gallery and the Sam Fox School Graduate Art Organization present Parabola 2023: perception/deception. The exhibition examines how art can be used to question our preconceptions. The artist’s sleight of hand has the power to confuse, conceal, and question the truth. This use of visual or conceptual trickery creates opportunities for surprise, discovery, and transformation.

For more than a decade, the annual Parabola exhibition has brought together students from across the University. The resulting exhibitions have been compromised of a diverse range of artistic disciplines and fields of study.
